Rig Training

First Aid

This qualification complies with the guidelines and criteria as defined by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) in respect of the 1981 (First Aid) Regulations. Where the risk assessment of First Aid needs identifies the need for First Aider’s, then this course will give your learners that, subject to assessment. The duration of this qualification must be a minimum of 3 days with a minimum of 18 contact hours.​


Rigging Stage 1

The Rigger training courses are widely recognised as the industry-standard training for offshore rigging and lifting operations.

 

Banksman/Slinger

A Banksman & Slinger is responsible for ensuring safety during crane and slinging operations. Accredited Banksman & Slinger training will enable you to undertake the role and preserve the safety of all lifting crew members

 

Confined Space / Breathing Apparatus Use

For those required to enter confined spaces, we provide courses that can cover Escape BA, Full BA and Oxygen Resuscitation. For managers and supervisors we provide a 1 day Confined Spaces Awareness and Risk Assessment programme. Our courses are recognised by most major organisations and include practical classroom based exercises


Working at Height

The Working at Height  - Unit 1 Height Safety Awareness training course is designed to introduce candidates who are not actively involved in working at height to the requirements of regulations.


Working at Height Rescue

The Working at Height  - Unit 3 Use of Rescue Equipment training course is catered towards those whose role involves an advanced measure of working at height, or those who instruct within such an environment.​


Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (mewp)

This course is for anyone who may be required to operate various types of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs)

Drone Training

This course is perfect for anyone wishing to use drones commercially on land or water based rigs and wind turbines. The candidate learns the skills required to inspect drilling platforms and turbines.

Drilling and Well Control

 

The International Well Control Forum (IWCF) is the only independent body focused on oil and gas well training and accreditation. They set training standards through a global network of branches and are committed to delivering a permanent step change in process safety and operations throughout the life-cycle of the well. Through collaboration with industry, IWCF are helping to increase competency and change behaviour.

IWCF DRILLING LEVEL 2 WELL CONTROL INTRODUCTORY

Drilling and Wells Personnel Basic Training (equivalent to old Introductory level)

 

IWCF DRILLING LEVEL 3 WELL CONTROL DRILLER

Available for any role expected to shut in a well (equivalent to old Driller level)

 

IWCF DRILLING LEVEL 4 WELL CONTROL SUPERVISOR

Well Site Supervisor Training (equivalent to old Supervisor level)
